Aletheia’s adventure was made possible by the vision of its founder, Giuseppe Leonardi. In 1984, he signed an agreement with the German multinational Creditreform to provide its clients with emerging business information and debt collection services for domestic and international companies.
Creditreform provides credit protection and management services for businesses; its services include debt collection, business information, marketing, and VAT refunds. Thanks to its support, Creditreform’s corporate clients are able to build secure business relationships.
Over the years, the company has gradually consolidated its position: a result achieved and made possible by an advanced technological and IT strengthening plan, which included the integration of domestic and international information sources, along with the expansion of its correspondent networks. In this way, Aletheia Group has achieved widespread coverage even in the most remote countries.
PROJECTS
In recent years, the Emilia-based company has undergone a profound transformation: in 2021, the founder’s daughter, Giulia Leonardi, took over management. With her arrival, a further expansion plan was launched with a specific objective: to activate the new area dedicated to investigative services and completely redesign the information systems and commercial information processing methods. These goals can be achieved with the support of AI and the new possibilities offered by these innovative tools.
This design has allowed the synergies of the various services to be leveraged, significantly increasing

In line with this transformation, in 2024 the company changed its name to Aletheia Srl, from the Greek word for “truth.” This decision underlined the qualitative leap and the expansion of its range of services, while remaining an official Creditreform distributor and further consolidating its position in the high-end market for product quality.
